OPEN FOR THE 2010 SEASON.
HOURS:
Monday to Friday 9:00 to 6:00
Saturday and Sunday 9:00 to 5:00
* We will close in very bad weather.
ALERT TO ALL GARDENERS: DO NOT KEEP LAST YEAR'S
POTATO TUBERS TO REPLANT THIS YEAR. LATE BLIGHT
CAN OVERWINTER IN THE TUBERS. If weather
conditions are the same as last year, late blight could
be a problem again. To keep tabs on the
progress of late blight so you can spray ahead of its
arrival, call your local Cooperative Extension
Service. There are organic sprays for late
blight.
Blue Bell
Greenhouse is a steadily growing family business owned
and operated by Yuda and Amy Daskal of Lee, New
Hampshire.
Blue Bell is in operation year
round, with retail sales in the Spring and special order
cut flowers the rest of the year.
We try to offer a large selection of
bedding plants, including some of the more unusual
varieties, which you can find in our "Plant
lists". Keep in mind that the lists are
subject to change. There may be some last-minute
items in the greenhouse that are not included on
the list, and others of limited quantity that sell
out early. Call ahead to ask about
availability, or just come and
browse.
We really
enjoy growing the plants, but even more we enjoy getting
to know our customers and seeing them enjoy their own
gardens.
